The best thing about dining in Tacoma, besides its fresh seafood, is the waterfront views. Grab a seat—you’re in for a treat.

Want to impress a hot date, perhaps? Several of Tacoma's restaurants, such as
C.I. Shenanigans (3017 Ruston Way, 253-752-8811), boast remarkable views of Puget Sound and Mount Rainer, which should lend some romance into the evening.

Other offerings range from the sports-oriented
Varsity Grill (1114 Broadway, 253-627-1229), which offers steaks, burgers, sandwiches and even Texas Hold'em on Tuesday nights, to the upscale Pacific Grill (1502 Pacific Ave., 253-627-3535), which is housed in the historic Waddell Building and offers diners a classic menu from the kitchen of Chef Gordon Naccarrato.
